At Red Brick Gallery we are excited to work with mid career and emerging artists working in many different mediums. As practicing artists ourselves we are passionate about bridging the gap between artist and gallery.
We are now accepting applications to exhibit in 2013 Please read below for information about exhibiting:
Space Fee:
The space is $295 per week. The balance of your space fee is due eight (8) weeks before your show commences.
Deposit:
You need to pay a $295 non refundable deposit when you return your signed contract. Exhibition is not locked into schedule without the signed contract and deposit being received. This deposit is not refundable but it comes off the total of your exhibition.
Exhibition Duration:
Exhibitions run for 2 weeks. Opening on a Friday night between the hours of 6 – 8pm and closing on a Thursday night at 5pm.
*If you are interested in exhibiting for longer than two weeks, please advise, all requests will be considered but will only be approved if it can be accommodated by the gallery.
What’s included in the price?
- Red Brick staff the gallery for you 6 days a week. Tuesday – Saturday from 10 – 5 pm and Sunday from 12 – 5 pm.
- We facilitate sales for you including credit card and eftpos sales. There is a 25% commission to the gallery for all sales but there are no extra fees for credit card and eftpos transactions.
- We host an opening night with wine and light finger food.
- We provide you with printed invitations to give to colleagues, family, friends and local businesses etc
- We advertise you in art almanac and other smaller publications.
- We submit press releases and event listings to all regional Victorian papers.
- We advertise your show extensively through social networking sights, blogs and our website.
- You will be given an ‘artists’ page on our website allowing you to link people to that page.
- We send an email invitation to our 800 + mailing list.

If you are still interested in exhibiting after reading this, your next step is to email us some images of your work and your artist CV or information about yourself and your work. If your application is accepted we will then forward you a list of available dates you can chose from and a contract to sign… then it all gets exciting as you secure your solo or group show for 2013:)
